Gas Prices Continue to Fall in Chicago Area: GasBuddy

Drivers rejoice! Gas prices have dropped even more.

Chicago area gasoline plunged another 13 cents a gallon, according to GasBuddy, a comparison shopping app for gas prices.

If prices continue to fall, we could see few gas stations eventually at 99 cents, according to GasBuddy.

An analyst for the app also tweeted a list of states with the cheapest gas prices. Many states in the Midwest made the list, including: Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, and Minnesota.

Meanwhile, the average price of a gallon of gasoline in America plunged to 8.2 cents in the past two weeks to its lowest level in seven years, Reuters reported citing a Lundberg survey released on Sunday.
