Lake County Sheriff’s police responded Thursday morning to a bomb threat at a north suburban school.

Clearbrook at 18180 W. Gages Lake Rd. in Gages Lake, a school for people with disabilities, was evacuated around 9:45 a.m. after a bomb threat was reported, according to a release from the Lake County Sheriff's Office.

School administrators also placed other schools on the campus on lockdown, officials said.

A search of the school found no bomb on the campus and school resumed shortly after, Sgt. Sara Balmes said.

More details on the nature of the threat were not released but the Lake County Sheriff's Office is investigating the incident to identify the caller.
