An Indiana judge issued a gag order in the murder case of a 13-year-old boy.

Court documents show Christian Choate was beaten for several years and kept in a cage before his death in 2009.

His disappearance went unreported until May of this year when a tip prompted police to investigate.

His father and stepmother face numerous charges in the case.

The gag order prevents officials from discussing anything related to Choate's death.
