    The Chicago Cubs placed right-handed pitcher Kyuji Fujikawa on a 15-day disabled list after he sustained a muscular strain of his right forearm, the team announced Saturday.

    The Chicago Cubs placed right-handed pitcher Kyuji Fujikawa on a 15-day disabled list after he sustained a muscular strain of his right forearm, the team announced Saturday.

    The Cubs recalled right-handed pitcher Rafael Dolis from Triple-A Iowa.

    Dolis has seen action with the Cubs during the last two seasons and made the Cubs Opening Day roster last season.

    Fujikawa recently took over the closing position for the Cubs, relieving Carlos Marmol after the pitcher gave up two home runs and lost the team’s lead against the Braves in the ninth inning.
