Police in suburban Frankfort released photos Thursday of suspects believed to be responsible for multiple recent car burglaries at parks and parking lots.

Six incidents were reported on Sept. 11, police said, and in each case, the vehicle's window was broken and purses and wallets were stolen.

Several of the purses were found days later in a dumpster at 335 E. Army Trail Road, according to Glendale Heights police.

On Sept. 15, victims began reporting that stolen checks were cashed at Providence Bank locations in Schererville and Munster, Ind., and South Holland.

Police said all drive-thru surveillance video appeared to show the same vehicle:  a black Dodge Durango or Dodge Journey with no front plate.
