A woman's body was discovered Sunday morning by a person fishing at Montrose Harbor.
At 8:13 a.m., a person fishing on the pier at Montrose Harbor snagged their hook on the body of a woman, according to a police officer with the Police Marine Unit.
Nothing was immediately suspicious about the body, the officer said.
The age and race of the woman was not immediately known, he said.
The Cook County Medical Examiner's office has been notified.
