Two men were charged for trying to steal from a fire department on the city's Northwest Side.

Firefighters were returning from a call when they caught the men leaving the firehouse at 4911 W. Belmont, according to fire officials.

Anthony Depietro, 27, and Robert J. Depietro, 32, both of the 4800 block of North Montclaire Avenue, reportedly tried stealing a laptop.

Firefighters were able to hold the two men until police arrived.

Both Anthony and Robert Depietro face burglary charges and will face a judge later Friday.
