No, it’s not a stand-up comedy gig at Zanies, but Sarah Palin will be giving an encore performance in Illinois.

Just two weeks after the former governor of Alaska speaks at a fundraiser in Washington, Illinois, she’ll headline an evening of politics at the Rosemont Theater on May 12, 2010, Crains Chicago Business’ Shia Kapos reports.

The event is sponsored by conservative talk station WIND-560 AM, which features syndicated programming from Glenn Beck, Dennis Miller, Michael Medved and Michael Savage no name a few conservatives. But the station gets a true star in Palin.

"There is no stronger voice for the conservative movement," station manager Jeff Reisman said.

The radio station is running a promotion for early release tickets; otherwise they go on sale on March 22.
