Fatal Crash on Lake Shore Drive
Police are still investigating

Police said they have detained all of the suspects involved in overnight robbery and shootout in East Oakland.

The police Major Accident Investigation Unit is investigating a fatal crash on Lake Shore Drive Sunday morning.
The accident happened around 4:45 a.m. when a vehicle crashed into a tree, according to police News Affairs Officer John Mirabelli.
Two people were taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital in critical condition, according to Fire Media Affairs.
Later one of those people was pronounced dead, police said. There was no update on the other person.
Additional details were not immediately available, Mirabelli said.
