Missing Northwest Side Family Found Safe

Tirzah Fujii “has recently been acting erratic and confused and is estranged from family,” police said

A woman and her two children who were reported missing Thursday from Chicago's Northwest Side have been found safe, according to police.

Tirzah Fujii, 37; and her children Malakai, 7; and Soriah, 1, had disappeared from the 2400 block of West Addison before they were last contacted in northwest Indiana, according to Chicago Police.

Police had asked for the public’s help in locating the mother after her family in Grand Rapids, Michigan reported she had recently been"acting erratic and confused and is estranged from family,” police said.

An endangered missing persons alert from Chicago police said Tirzah Fujii was driving a black 2016 Mercedes E350 with white paint and a dent on a rear door and a license plate of K179650.

They have since been found safe in New Buffalo, Michigan, police said early Friday. No other details were released.
