What kind of party can $10,000 buy you for New Year’s Eve in Chicago?
Apparently a “weekend of elegance, glam and glitz in the Big City” featuring a three-night stay at the Kinzie Hotel, professional styling and wardrobe, a private helicopter trip and tickets to a Rat Pack-inspired New Year’s Eve gala, among other things.
The offer is part of the Oak Brook Hills Resort and Kinzie Hotel’s NYE “Timeless” package.
According to the hotels, the “over-the-top experience of a lifetime” is aimed at giving couples the chance to “ring in 2017 Sinatra-style.”
The deal begins Dec. 30 at the Kinzie Hotel in Chicago’s River North neighborhood. The couple will be given personal styling sessions from Trunk Club and will be able to keep the wardrobe they choose.
After the styling session is a romantic dinner at RPM Italian followed by bubbly and truffles back at the hotel suite.
New Year’s Eve starts off with a mimosa brunch before a limo trip to Vertiport Chicago, where a helicopter with a glass bottom will offer a bird’s eye view of the skyline before landing at the Oak Brook Hills Resort 20 miles away. There, a private photographer and private butler will greet the pair before they to their room and then to the spa for a couple’s massage.

The two will then be “groomed” by hair and makeup stylists from Mario Tricoci before they head to the Rat Pack event at the hotel’s Grand Ballroom. The event will feature drinks, food and live music from a 12-piece big band orchestra along with the Las Vegas-based hit show “The Rat Pack is Back.”
On New Year’s Day, the couple will get a “hangover brunch” served in bed, a helicopter back to the city and limo service home.
