And yesterday was no exception when he called fellow Commissioner Forrest Claypool a "born loser".
Claypool this week decided not to run for President of the Cook County Board. But beneath Beavers bravado was the palpable relief felt in the camp of current President Todd Storger that Claypool, the heavy favorite, was moving out of politics and into the private sector.
