Elderly Targeted In Recent Robberies: Police

Offenders threatened the victims with a gun or physical force, police said

Elderly residents in the Bronzeville neighborhood have been the target of two recent robberies, Chicago Police said.

Two robberies were reported in the 3700 block of South Indiana Avenue on July 1 and July 6 at 1:30 a.m. and 12:25 p.m., respectively.
 
Police said one or two men approached the victims and threatened them with a gun or physical force as they took their property.
 
Police said descriptions of the offenders vary but they are generally described as black men between 20 and 23 years old weighing about 180 pounds with brown eyes and dreadlocks.
