Ogling Driver Crashes into Bus

Told police his brakes failed but witnesses say differently

Some people are said to have looks so good they could stop traffic.

At least one woman took the adage a step further. She didn't just stop traffic, she crashed it.

At about 6 p.m. Sunday a man collided with a CTA bus near West Fullerton Avenue and North Pulaski Road. He told police his brakes failed, but the  man may have had his eyes on a woman instead of on the road when he crashed into the bus, reports WBBM News Radio.

An alert onlooker told officers that the 20-something driver wanted to "look at a girl" rather than at the road.

The driver was cited for driving on a suspended license, and police discovered a warrant for his arrest, reports WBBM News Radio.

Yet another reason to take public transportation. You can ogle safely.

Well, up until you get slapped.
