Drew Peterson reportedly has a new roommate. The author of a book about the former Bolingbrook police sergeant implicated in the disappearance of his wife says his fiance has moved into his home with her two young children.

Drew Peterson has a new roommate.

The fiance of the former Bolingbrook police sergeant has reportedly moved into his house along with her two young children, according to Derek Armstrong, author of Drew Peterson Exposed.

Of course, there is still some question as to the identity of the woman who is marrying Peterson.

Last month, his publicist Glen Selig said he was engaged, but so far no one has come forward to say she is the marrying Peterson.

Christina Raines, the 23-year-old woman who would be wife no. 5 for Drew Peterson, has denied reports she is the woman who said 'I do.'

Her father and boyfriend have acknowledged Peterson did give the Romeoville waitress a ring but say she is not marrying Peterson.

"She never said, 'Yes, I will marry you,'" Raines' boyfriend, Mike, who declined to give his full name, told the Chicago Tribune last month. 'He's [mad] at her and he's trying to get back at her by dragging her name through the mud."

Peterson has continued to tell reporters he had "no comment" on most issues -- who his fiance is, how they met, if they had set a date, if he was happy  --- but he did say that all his young female friends are now being harassed by the press. He said he doesn't want to put anyone through that.

The announcement marked at least the sixth time Peterson has gotten engaged, and according to a divorce attorney, there's no legal issue with him getting engaged.  To remarry legally, the attorney said, all he has to do is file for dissolution of the marriage.

If his current wife, Stacy Peterson, who has been missing since October 2007, doesn't respond within 30 days, their marriage is legally over.

The former Bolingbrook police officer remains a suspect in the death of his third wife, Kathleen Savio. He has also been implicated in the disappearance of Stacy Peterson, and that case is still under investigation.

  • rectitudinous Friday, Jan 16 at 10:43 AM FLAG COMMENT WAKE THE FUNK UP PEOPLE I wish there was one smart person in the media that can expose this for what it is. This is a publicity stunt for Drucifer and his "brain trust" (think janitor-Scrubs). Glenn Selig, Joel Brodsky, and that pos "author" Derek Armstrong are bottom feeders, and are all in this together with Drucifer, to make money off a book, and to keep any normal people from getting the kids and his stuff when he goes to ... • kay-diego Friday, Jan 16 at 1:09 AM FLAG COMMENT I can't believe Child Protective Services hasn't taken Drew children away from him, nor did they take OJ Simpson away from him. I guess it isn't serious enough for them , you know being cared for by a murderer, alcoholic, mmmmm what else? What is wrong with our legal system? I guess the police and whoever else on the case are stupid and Drew is really smart. Drew Protective Services is in full force.
  • Ron Wednesday, Jan 14 at 9:18 PM FLAG COMMENT Two women abused and threatened by a controlling husband -- and then dying mysteriously -- that's a news story. What was it that NBC aired? They must be desperate for ratings!! I've joined the boycott and will not be watching them again.
  • To SuzieQ and Alley Wednesday, Jan 14 at 4:09 PM FLAG COMMENT I dont' know. I think Alley has a point. Where were they seen together? Not on TV. Notice Drew hasn't commented at all. The only time they said anything was confirmed was during a conversation with his PUBLICIST! Do you know what that means?? Alley may be on to something. Publicist and Drew talking, nothing mentioned of Christine, just about 2 kids and the grocery bill going up. I think Christines family is in on it too. Think ... MORE >
  • ROBIN Wednesday, Jan 14 at 2:41 PM FLAG COMMENT SHE OBVIOUSLY HAS ISSUES HERSELF. WHY ELSE WOULD A MOTHER PUT HER CHILDREN IN HARMS WAY. AND THE FATHER OF THOSE CHILDREN SHOULD BE WORRIED. HE CAN'T DO ANYTHING ABOUT WHAT HIS EX DOES TO HERSELF BUT HE CAN DO SOMETHING TO PROTECT THOSE CHILDREN. I WOULD BE HIRING AN ATTORNEY TO GET CUSTODY.
