Police in northwest Indiana are searching for a doctor who disappeared a week ago.
Dr. Promila Mehta-Paul was last seen March 21 at her medical office on Kennedy Avenue in Highland, Ind. The next day, Mehta-Paul was a no-show for work, even though she had several appointments scheduled. She didn’t call, and no one has seen or heard from her since.
Police checked her home in Munster, and said she apparently hasn’t been there for days. Mehta-Paul, 70, is about 5 feet 1 inch tall, and weighs about 130 pounds, with brown eyes and brown hair.
Anyone who’s seen Mehta-Paul since last Monday is asked to call police at 219-838-3181.
