Derrick Rose’s signature shoe with adidas has become fairly popular around Chicago, long known as a city whose residents prefer to wear sneakers made by Nike and Jordan Brand.

Since joining the Bulls, Rose’s signature kicks became increasingly popular with kids and can often be spotted on a basketball court or in the streets.

After images of his new shoe, the Rose 3.0, were floated around the Internet months ago, the big reveal is finally here. Rose and the sneaker giant not only “officially” unveils his latest signature shoe on Thursday, but they also plan to give a first glimpse of his apparel collection.

Watch the reveal here.

If you’ve already scoured the web for images of the shoe, you may have noticed his new logo – the letter ‘D’ and the number one nestled inside the center of a rose – which is prominently featured on the tongue.

The logo is set to be the distinguishing characteristic of the Rose “brand” moving forward, much like the iconic ‘Jumpman’ symbol associated with the Jordan Brand collection.

Although Derrick isn’t expected to take the court until sometime after the calendar turns, adidas has kept his name circulating in the news, and the unveiling of these new products is certain to keep people talking as the opening of training camp nears.
