Dave Grohl Spotted Riding CTA Brown Line

There are Foos in Chicago.

Dave Grohl already has proven to be an avid lover of the city, as evidenced by repeat visits to local foodie spots, past tour dates and his numerous performances at the city's Lollapalooza festival.

So it was only a matter of time before Grohl took in Chicago views on the CTA Brown Line.

Early Monday evening, pictures began popping up in the Twitterverse of the Foo Fighters frontman and former Nirvana drummer riding the Brown Line by himself, very excitedly we might add.

But the potential Foo finding was later confirmed when Piece Pizzeria & Brewery posted a picture on their Facebook page, except this time Grohl wasn’t alone. He was dining on some of Chicago’s cheesy goodness with his fellow bandmates.

(function(d, s, id) { var js, fjs = d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0]; if (d.getElementById(id)) return; js = d.createElement(s); js.id = id; js.src = "//connect.facebook.net/en_US/all.js#xfbml=1"; fjs.parentNode.insertBefore(js, fjs); }(document, 'script', 'facebook-jssdk'));

Foo fans have been buzzing about the band’s announcement of a new album, expected to begin recording early this year.

The band posted a picture of a row of master tapes labeled “Foot Fighters LP 8” on their official Instagram account last week, with a caption that read “It’s F***ing ON.”

Could this mean the Foo Fighters are recording in the Windy City?
