A dashcam video from a Gurnee man's car shows an employee at a dealership taking the car on a speedy joy ride while it was in the shop.
The 8.5-minute video captured the entire joy ride, in which the Dodge Caliber SRT reached speeds in the 90 mile per hour range, according to the Daily Herald.
Drew Hovorka, who owns the car, told the Daily Herald his car was receiving nearly $2,000 maintenance work at Gurnee Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram when the incident occurred.
The employee has not been identified.
Todd Thomas, the manager at the dealership, has not yet returned calls asking for comment.
