Hip hop musician and actor Common will give the keynote speech during Martin Luther King Jr. Week at North Central College in suburban Chicago.
The Naperville school says it remembers the civil rights leader every year with musical tributes, a prayer breakfast and a keynote presentation. This year Common, who is from Chicago, will give a presentation titled "Greatness!" on Jan. 21. There will be a question-and-answer period after the speech.
School officials note that King spoke at North Central College in 1960.
