More snow will fall on the Chicago area, and depending on the timing could mess up the Monday morning commute. But temperatures will near 40 later in the week!
Mother Nature is going to make sure the fresh snow we've had sticks around for a while.
Temperatures on Sunday morning were in the teens and were expected to fall from there. By 5 p.m., wind chills will likely be in the sub-zero range. There may also be a few flurries.
The snow continued throughout the morning and afternoon but began to taper during the evening hours.
A slight warm-up should mark the start of the week with highs in upper 20s Monday and even reaching into the 30s Tuesday.
