A Elgin man is in police custody after police said they found cocaine with a street value of $15,000 in his home.
The Kane County Sheriff's Special Operations Unit arrested Juan Quinones-Barraza, 56, of the 300 block of North Aldine Ave, in Elgin, after finding six ounces of drug within his home.
His arrest came after a two-month long investigation by the Special Operations Unit, authorities said.
Sheriff's office says the Quinones-Barraza is charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession with the intent to deliver.
The Elgin man is currently held at the Kane County Adult Corrections Center. Bond is set at $750,000. He is scheduled for a court appearance Oct. 27.
