The cost to light up is going up, again.

Smokers will have to shell out more money for cigarettes in Illinois, starting Sunday, as the state's tax more than doubles.

The $1-a-pack increase has some store owners worried that customers will go out of state to buy cigarettes.

Gov. Pat Quinn approved the hike, which is supposed to help pay for the state's Medicaid program.
