Man Who Owes $190,000 in Child Support Surrenders

    Michael Lemon, 41, turned himself in to police after failing to pay make payments on nearly $200,000 in child support.

    A Chicago father turned himself in to police Tuesday after failing to pay approximately $190,000 in child support.

    A child support warrant was issued February 2014 after Michael Lemon, 41, failed to appear in court and make a court-ordered payment, according to a release from the Cook County Sheriff's office.
     
    Lemon, of the 1200 block of Clybourn Avenue, was ordered held on a $373 bond.

    His next court date was set for June 30.
