Recent incidents of violence among teenagers is constant and belie city assurances that violence is declining, suggests an interactive timeline produced by Medill graduate journalism students.

Running from Derrion Albert's beating to recent reports that the city's anti-violence iniatives are faltering, the timeline brings into relief the city's problems with understanding and controlling its young wards.

Each link in the timeline points to news reports written by Medill students.
