Chicago Woman Arrested for Stabbing Sister in Face

A woman was stabbed in the face by her sister during a domestic fight in the Gresham neighborhood on Chicago's South Side Monday night.

Police were called to the 7600 block of South May around 11:40 p.m. on reports of a disturbance.

Authorities say two sisters had been fighting when one pulled out a knife and stabbed her 21-year-old sister in the left cheek.

Both were taken into custody. The woman who was stabbed was transported to Holy Cross Hospital where she was reported to be in good condition, police said.
