Chicago Police are searching for the man who assaulted a 17-year-old girl Tuesday evening in the Logan Square neighborhood.

Police News Affairs said the teenager was walking home around 7 p.m. when a man pulled up in a car in the 2700 block of North Artesian Avenue and asked if she needed a ride.

The girl approached the car and got in, police said. She was assaulted in an alley a short distance away.

The girl was treated at St. Mary's Hospital and released.

Police spent the night trying to find evidence and compile a description of the suspect. No arrests have been made.
