What's Closed In Chicago For Presidents Day

Federal Businesses closed for Presidents Day

Happy Presidents Day, Chicago!

The federal holiday means some closures, a day off for some students (CPS students still have class) and a light traffic day for commuters.

Federal businesses are closed, including government offices, as well as many banks and credit unions, public libraries, and municipal, state and federal offices. The post office is not delivering mail today, except for express mail.

The seven City Colleges of Chicago also are closed for Presidents Day.

Pace, CTA and Metra, along with most attractions such as museums, have regular hours.
