Chicago Police narcotics officers recovered about 7,000 pounds of marijuana Tuesday in a warehouse in the city’s West Englewood neighborhood.
Acting on an anonymous tip, officers found the bundles of drugs hidden among pallets of cilantro at a warehouse on the 2100 block of West 74th street.
The drugs have a street value of about $20 million, police said.
No one was in custody Wednesday morning, and police were still investigating.
