Charges Filed in Tinley Park Raid

Police said they continue to investigate the incident, and are looking for 13 other individuals who fled the scene and were not apprehended

Charges have been filed agains seven individuals who allegedly stormed a restaurant in Tinley Park with baseball bats and hammers and assaulted a group there.

Ten diners were injured when the group of about 18 people dressed in black attacked them the Ashford House Restaurant at 7559 West 159th Street in Tinley Park, Tinley Park Police said in a press release.

Lason W. Sutherlin of Gossport, Ind.; Cody Lee Edward Sutherlin, of Bloomington, Ind.; Dylan James Sutherlin, of Bloomington, Ind.; Alex Robert Stuck, of Bloomington, Ind.; and John S. Tucker of Spencer, Ind., were all charged with felony aggravated battery, felony mob action and felony criminal damage to property,Tinley Park Police said in a press release.

Jason Sutherland’s was ordered held on a $250,000 bond; Cody Sutherland on $200,000; and the other three on $175,000 each.

Two others, who were among the group of diners, were charged with separate crimes. Steven Eugene Peers, of Grand Forks, N.D., was arrested on a warrant for possession of child pornography from Dallas County, Texas. Francis John Gilroy Jr., of West Palm Beach, Fla., was charged with unlawful possession of weapons by a felon, Tinley Park Police said in a press release.
