Cheesecake lovers across Chicago can satisfy their sweet tooth with a two-day celebration of National Cheesecake Day, hosted by Chicago’s own Eli’s Cheesecake.

The unofficial holiday is July 30, but Eli’s cheesecake extravaganza begins Thursday --- which means its time to get a slice! The Chicago company is offering free slices of cheesecake all day, with a different flavor featured every hour, Cheesecake Dancers performing to original cheesecake songs and Eli’s Sweet Rod, a cheesecake-mobile of sorts, to offer dessert on the go.

Eli’s is located on West Forest Preserve Dr., and the Sweet Rod will be at the Jefferson park "EL" station Thursday afternoon.

Those outside of Chicago can get in on the deal too -- Eli's is offering free shipping on featured National Cheesecake Day flavors.

Now that’s sweet.
