A well-known Chicago fashion designer accused of raping a Streeterville woman in 2013 was cleared of those charges during a jury trial in 2014.
Prosecutors initially said Elhadji Gueye, 49, better known as "Haj," forced a 29-year-old woman to have sex after she invited him to dinner in her apartment on Aug. 27, according to the Chicago Sun-Times.
Gueye's attorneys claimed the woman set up Gueye to extort $50,000, and that the two had a previous romantic relationship.
Gueye was being held on $100,000 bond on a charge of Criminal Sexual Assault.
The designer has dressed celebs such as the late actor Bernie Mac, NBA player Tony Parker and former boxer Mike Tyson.
