A car crashed into a medical center on the west side, causing major damage early Sunday morning.

The Community Outreach Intervention Center is a University of Illinois clinic that does HIV prevention work.

A crowd gathered to inspect the wreck, among them Matta Kelly, the clinics office manger.  "There's lots of damage, it's devastating," she said.

One witness who saw the crash happen said the car hit two cars before crashing into the front of the clinic.  No one was injured, including the driver who bystanders say was visibly shaken.

Police have not filed charges or said what caused the man to lose control.
