A funeral service for a 1-year-old boy turned into a melee among family members Wednesday in Milwaukee.

Christopher Thomas Jr. was in the custody of his aunt, who was serving as his foster mother, when he died.

The aunt has been charged with reckless homicide and child abuse in Christopher's death.

More than 100 family members were gathered for services for the boy Wednesday when a fight broke out at a Milwaukee funeral home.

There was shoving and yelling and the child's father was taken away from the scene by ambulance with a gash to his head.

The boy and his 2-year-old sister had been in several foster homes after being taken away from their mother in March.

  • cleveland Sunday, Nov 23 at 8:30 AM FLAG COMMENT We are all educated now. This was not a family, this was a group of people! There is a big difference in family and a group of people!Lesson of the day-do not associate with groups of people, you will regret it!
  • cincychick Saturday, Nov 22 at 8:11 PM FLAG COMMENT Why is being "ghetto" something to aspire to? These people seem to be the most trashy of the trash by 1) disturbing this poor baby's funeral with their drama, and 2) doing it in a setting that would get them on the internet. These people should definitely be ashamed of themselves, but they're probably sitting at home congratulating themselves on each push and shove. Idiots.
