A Rogers Park bar doorman is accused of shooting a man in the leg during a fight over an unpaid tab.

Danielito Valentin, 31, of the 5300 block of South Spaulding Avenue, was charged with felony aggravated battery with a firearm, the Sun-Times reports. He also faces charges of false impersonation of a peace officer after admitting he carries a badge to pose as a Chicago Police officer.

On Friday, Valentin was at the door at Gallagher’s bar, 1770 W. Greenleaf, when he got in a dispute with a group kicked out of the bar three weeks ago for not paying their bill.

Valentin allegedly shot one of the men in the leg. Police found the badge when he was arrested in the 1900 block of West Touhy.

Valentin says a gun was pulled on him first.
