A water warning is in effect for residents in Fox River Grove.
Three water mains broke Wednesday night and forced village officials to issue a boil order. It's not known why the mains broke, but the village said the incidents are not believed to be related.
In the meantime, residents are advised by the EPA as a precautionary measure to boil their water for five minutes until Friday morning.
Crews are working to repair the mains, and the village said it will notify residents when the boil order has been lifted.
