The autopsy for a man recovered from Montrose Habor by Police divers on Thursday night has been delayed.

The Cook County Medical Examiner's Office identified the man as Talmadge T. Channell, 35, of the 4400 block of North Malden Street in Uptown, who was reported missing last Friday, the Sun-Times reported.

The autopsy scheduled for Friday was postponed because the body was still frozen.

Police do not know how Channell ended up in the harbor. But he is said to have suffered from periodic memory loss and confusion, according to a missing persons alert issued by earlier this week.
