Body of Elderly Woman Pulled from Lake Michigan

An autopsy has been scheduled for Monday

    The body of an elderly woman was pulled from Lake Michigan Sunday in the North Side Rogers Park neighborhood.

    The body was pulled from the water at 11:19 a.m. in the 1000 block of West Pratt Boulevard, police said.

    A 72-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner’s office.

    She was identified by the medical examiner’s office as Rita Sitcherbakova, of the 7400 block of North Rogers Avenue.

    An autopsy is scheduled for Monday.
