No Fire After Blue Line Service Halted Near O'Hare: CFD

Blue Line service was running with residual delays between the O’Hare and Rosemont stops Wednesday evening due to earlier fire department activity, the Chicago Transit Authority tweeted.

The Chicago Fire Department tweeted about 6:26 p.m. a "minor issue" caused a slight smoke smell, but there was no fire and no "serious impact."

Northbound trains were turned around at Rosemont and redirected south due to smoke near the O’Hare terminal, CTA officials said. Bus transit was provided for riders from Rosemont to O’Hare.
