Block 37 is beginning to show signs of life.
According to Crain's, the owners of the State Street mall are reportedly in advanced talks to bring in an AMC movie theater and an XSport Fitness facility to the property's fourth floor, a food court on the third level, and a restaurant on the ground floor run by the owner's of the The Gage.
The mall has struggled since opening in 2009, but if the deals go through, it could provide a boost in foot traffic for the existing retail tenants and help to attract new ones.
Only 36 percent of the mall is currently occupied, according to Crain's.
