Blago to Speak at NU on "Ethics"

    Former Gov. Rod Blagojevich was indicted on 16 felony charges by the U.S. Attorney's office on April 2. While the indictment was long-expected, the details in the document named additional defendants and included allegations of "pervasive fraud" in the Blagojevich administration.

    In what's surely (hopefully) an unsubtle wink at Billy Madison fans, Northwestern University has invited former Gov. Rod Blagojevich to speak next month about "ethics."

    Blagojevich, a Weinberg alum, will address students on Tuesday, March 2, in the Cahn Auditorium on the topic of "ethics in politics."

    Y'know, just like business ethics, if you're selling a senate seat.

    The former governor will be interviewed by a Northwestern faculty panel which includes law Professor Tonja Jacobi, Political Science Professor Donald Gordon and Medill Professor Donna Leff . Students will be allowed to ask questions afterward.

    Surely they will award him no points, and ask that God have mercy on his soul.
