The Chicago Blackhawks have shaken up their roster once again, sending Bryan Bickell down to the Rockford IceHogs and recalling Marko Dano.

Bickell, who is in the third year of a four-year contract that pays him $4 million per season, has been on the outs recently as he’s struggled to find his form this season. He has zero points in seven games played with the Blackhawks after dealing with vertigo issues during the 2015 postseason.

The move doesn’t save the Blackhawks much in terms of salary cap space, however. Only $950,000 will come off of the team’s salary cap, meaning that around $3 million will still count toward the team’s total.

Meanwhile, Dano will try to come up and aid an offense that has looked shaky recently. They did score four goals in a 5-4 loss to the Minnesota Wild on Friday night, but prior to that the Blackhawks had scored six goals in their previous four games and had failed to score in regulation twice during that span.
