Bill Murray: Rahm Emanuel Should Cancel School Following Cubs World Series Win

Chicago Public Schools may have dodged a teacher strike this year, but it might not get out from an elated Bill Murray's enthusiasm for the Chicago Cubs' Wednesday night World Series champion game.

In a television interview Wednesday night, Murray said Mayor Rahm Emanuel should cancel school for the rest of the week in light of the Cubs historic victory.

“Come on, if he’s as good a mayor as he wants to be, he should start right now and give these kids Thursday and Friday off,” Murray said.

Murray was also seen with Cubs President Theo Epstein engaging in friendly banter while spraying one another with champagne. [[399780241, C]]

"Hey, is there anyone you want to say hello to that you haven't thought about lately?" Murray asked Epstein.

"Yeah, you!" the Cubs president responded before popping a bottle of bubbles into the actor's face.

"Yeah, Bill! We just won the World Series!" Epstein shouted before embracing a soaked Murray.
