Former CBS reality TV contestant Tonya Taoni attends a party for the winner of CBS's Big Brother 3 at Belly on September 25, 2002 in Los Angeles, California. The party was thrown by Big Brother 2's former cast member Mike 'Boogie' Malin & last year's winner Will Kirby.
It seems Big Brother contestants find loads of trouble once the cameras stop watching.
Tonya Paoni—now Tonya Casper—was a housemate in Big Brother 3 and is accused of causing a multi-vehicle crash just outside of Springfield, Illinois, last summer, reports TMZ.
The 43-year-old mother was driving under the influence, say police, when she rear-ended an SUV on Interstate 72. One of the SUV's passengers was thrown from the vehicle and died immediately.
The second passenger was killed when a passing car swerved to avoid the resulting pile-up and hit him as he stood on the side of the road, according to The State Journal-Register.
Casper, a retail sales specialist, has been arrested and charged with aggravated DUI, reckless homicide, reckless driving, and speeding. She is currently held on $1 million bond at Sangamon County Jail.
The "wit, humor, and sincerity" she claimed to bring to Big Brother likely won't help her now.
