Bicyclist Killed in South Side Hit-and-Run

The MDC may be putting on the brakes for cyclists who ride at the West Hartford Reservoir.

A bicyclist was found dead by a city snow plow driver Monday evening after a possible hit-and-run accident.

The driver saw a man lying in the 300 block of West Pershing Road, the Sun Times reports. The man was pronounced dead at 6:29 p.m. He is believed to be in his 40s.

Police are investigating the incident as a hit-and-run, according to the Sun Times. An autopsy is planned for today.
