They may be in Sochi to battle for a gold medal, but there’s another competition stirring on social media—which Olympic figure skater has the best hair?
First, it was the popular ponytail sported by figure skating newcomer Jason Brown.
The Highland Park native's ponytail spawned a Twitter account all its own. Already, @2014PonyPower has nearly 4,000 followers, and with hashtags like #ponytailpower, Brown’s pulled-back locks easily took the hair spotlight on social media.
The “do” rivalry has gotten a little hairy, though, as gold medal champion and Michigan skater Charlie White's curls begin to garner followers of their own.
With accounts like @CharliesCurls and @CharlieWsHair, White’s golden locks are taking Twitter by storm.

The American skaters aren't the only ones with hair fans. Accounts dedicated to Brown and White's manes are in a Twitter battle with @Pojesmane, dedicated to Canadian figure skater Andrew Poje's brown bob.
