Aurora’s Roundhouse Files for Bankruptcy

Restaurant will continue business as usual

America's Historic Roundhouse in Aurora filed for bankruptcy, but customers aren't expected to notice a difference.

Restaurant owner Scott Aschertells the Daily Herald he plans to continue business as usual despite the filing, however he will sell the building to pay debts and back taxes.

Archer blames the failing economy for the Roundhouse's money troubles, saying the restaurant lost nearly a million dollars in business between 2007 and 2008.

The Palatine pub Durty Nellie's is planning to buy the building.
