Athletes, Celebrities React to Cubs’ NLDS Win

After a miraculous comeback Tuesday night, the Chicago Cubs defeated the San Francisco Giants to advance to the National League Championship Series.

Mayor Rahm Emanuel issued a statement Wednesday morning.

“Congratulations to the Chicago Cubs on emerging victorious from the NLDS and advancing to the National League Championship Series," Emanuel said. "This was another great chapter in an unforgettable season, and all of Chicago is looking forward to what’s in store for the rest of October. Let's go Cubs!"
