Two people were struck by a vehicle on the city's North Side Friday night, Chicago Fire Department officials confirmed.
The incident occurred about 8:07 p.m., police said. Two ambulances responded to the scene at Kingsbury and Willow streets in the city's Lincoln Park neighborhood. Both people were transported to Northwestern Memorial Hospital in serious to critical condition, officials said.
A police officer at the scene said one of the victims was dragged by the vehicle about 200 yards.
Witnesses said both pedestrians were female and looked very young.
