At least one injured worker was pulled from a trench near Elgin at a construction site Friday, officials said.
It was unknown how many people were in the trench, but at least one person could be seen being pulled out after 1 p.m. near Big Timber and McCormack roads.
Workers and paramedics could be seen carrying the person on a stretcher to an ambulance waiting nearby.
No other details were immediately available.
